Highgrove, CA's Seasonal Mosquito Barrier Treatment Team

Most barrier treatments remain effective for about 21 days, which is why seasonal programs schedule visits on that cycle.

Both — barrier spray handles adult mosquitoes while larvicide treats standing water we can't drain, addressing the full breeding cycle.

Barrier products are applied according to label guidelines for residential use — we'll flag any areas needing special handling.

Yes — we schedule one-time treatments timed a day or two before weddings, parties, or graduations for maximum effect on the event date.

Standing water features require a different approach — larvicide — because barrier spray only affects adult mosquitoes, not developing larvae.

Most Highgrove, CA properties do well on a 21-day cycle through the warm season, adjusted based on rainfall and standing water conditions. We recommend a quick yard check after heavy rain, since new standing water can appear in places that were dry all season.
